1. Day 03 - Hometown location and facts Hometown: Port Washington, NY Located right on the water, on the North Shore of Long Island. Very pretty. Land of many boats, banks, Chinese restaurants and pizzerias. Wikipedia says we have a population of 15,215 people. This includes New York Met Carlos Beltran and Derek Jeter’s mom. Might have creeped on their houses a few too many times in high school. Port is also home to the village of Sands Point, i.e. East Egg in The Great Gatsby. Fancy!
